My latest post, How a Horse Named Hero Changed My Life, which has received the most comments I have ever had on one post, is a good example of what I write about here. I am a homeschooling mom and survivor of leukemia (twice) who had a bone marrow transplant in 2009. It has been a long recovery process over the last two years, and my husband and I blogged about the whole thing, even in the darkest hours when it looked like I wouldn't make it. We offer encouragement and support for those who are suffering.
