Welcome newcomers to my blog! I’m participating in the 2011 Ultimate Blog Party in order to spread the message of hope and encouragement to those who are seeking it.
My latest post, How a Horse Named Hero Changed My Life, which has received the most comments I have ever had on one post, is a good example of what I write about here. I am a homeschooling mom and survivor of leukemia (twice) who had a bone marrow transplant in 2009. It has been a long recovery process over the last two years, and my husband and I blogged about the whole thing, even in the darkest hours when it looked like I wouldn't make it. We offer encouragement and support for those who are suffering.
